Tim Scott is the primary instructor and owner of the Carolina School of Horseshoeing, LLC.  Tim has spent his lifetime growing up around horses and apprenticing under some of the best Farriers in the region.  Upon graduating from high school, Tim decided to enroll in a horseshoeing school.  Tim learned very early on in his career that you cannot master the horseshoeing trade through watching someone else do the work.  The only way to learn and master the trade was through actual hands on experience.  This lesson in life gave Tim the passion to teach others in a manner in which he only wished to have learned the trade.  Tim is very well respected in all communities of the horse world.  His past students have all gone on to establish successful and well respected businesses in various regions of the United Stated.  His years of experience running his own business in a multitude of various horse economies have given him the wisdom and first hand knowledge of what it takes to become a successful and respected Farrier. Tim has shod all types of horses throughout the United States with past practices located in Florida, Missouri, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and the Carolinas.   His areas of expertise include shoeing various breeds in several disciplines including Quarter Horses, Thoroughbreds, and Warmbloods.
